Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies such as local storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. They let a site remember your choices between visits.
2. What we use
SetCoder only uses strictly necessary browser storage to remember preferences you set yourself. We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media or other third-party tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Because this storage is essential to features you request, it does not require consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), but we list it below for transparency.
3. Storage on this site
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| site-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light, dark or system theme. | Until you clear it |
| cookie-notice-dismissed | Local storage | Remembers that you have dismissed the cookie notice. | Until you clear it |
4. Contact form
When you submit our contact form, the details you enter are sent to us and stored in our CRM so we can reply. No cookie is set in the process. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
5. Managing storage
You can delete this data at any time through your browser's settings (usually under Privacy → Cookies and site data). Blocking it will not stop the site working — your theme choice simply won't be remembered.
6. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
